New York's MOMIX to perform 'Alchemia' for DANCECleveland show
Going down the rabbit hole embracing the unexpected is exactly what acclaimed choreographer and director Moses Pendleton has been doing with spectacular results for decades with his dance company MOMIX, known for modern dance, circus-like acrobatics and visual spectacle.

"Initially, you just follow whatever turns you on - whatever gives you a passion - with an amateurish spirit," said Pendleton, calling from the Big Apple. "In other words, you don't have any lobbyist for you, and you don't owe anybody anything. You're just doing this because it's exciting."
The recent anniversary provided the director with the perfect opportunity to reflect on MOMIX's past and compare notes in a way: Juxtaposing where the company has been with current inspirations and desires.
