Sara Lawrence-Sucato (BA in Dance Teaching and Choreography & MS in Organizational Leadership, Mercyhurst University) has worked in various capacities with the Dancing Wheels Company & School since 2006, including professional dancer, tour manager, and rehearsal director. As Director of Education, Sara works with a team of Master Teaching Artists to deliver the Dancing Wheels Teacher Certification program, trains company dancers, oversees and teaches outreach and in-studio classes and programming, and teaches physically integrated and adaptive dance in community-based classes, residencies, workshops, and masterclasses in Northeast Ohio schools and with organizations such as Art Possible Ohio, Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, DanceCleveland, Dementia Friendly LIFE, MetroHealth, Our Lady of the Wayside, and United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cleveland.
