Who is it for?
Dance Career Day is designed for high school students and their parents/guardians to learn more about careers and pathways to pursue dance beyond high school. Students must be entering or enrolled in high school to participate.

Sessions will explore topics such as career pathways in dance, preparing for college, branding and social media best practices, careers in concert dance, commercial dance, a parents only session, and career “speed dating”. All students will also participate in either a modern dance or hip hop masterclass.

The fee for this program is $95. Registration includes 1 student and 1 parent or guardian and includes a boxed lunch for 1 parent and 1 student.

An optional photography session is available as an add-on for $75 and includes a headshot and full body dance photos.

A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available by request. To request a scholarship, please email a statement expressing how receiving a scholarship for this program will further your/your student's dance training to akamis@dancecleveland.org.

Scholarship applications will be reviewed until Oct. 1 or until funds are depleted.
