DANCECleveland's Northeast Ohio Student Showcase

Enjoy the free Northeast Ohio Student Showcase, part of DANCECleveland's Community Dance Day 2026!

3:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Allen Theatre, Playhouse Square

This showcase provides local dance students with a professional performance experience in an iconic Playhouse Square theatre. The showcase will display a wide range of dance styles and will feature the highest caliber of student performers and choreographers from across Northeast Ohio, highlighting their arts mastery. This year’s showcase will take place on Saturday, July 25th at 3:00 pm. General admission tickets are free, but reservation in advanced is recommended.

As part of Community Dance Day, showcase participants and community members can enjoy over a dozen free community dance classes for all ages and abilities in dance styles ranging from modern and contemporary to ballet, African drum and dance, hip-hop, and more as well as the free Northeast Ohio Student Showcase!

Calling all Youth Dance Studios, Groups and Teams! Have you ever dreamed of performing at Playhouse Square? Apply now to have your student dancers perform as part of the Northeast Ohio Student Showcase on Community Dance Day, July 25th at 3 pm at Playhouse Square presented by DANCECleveland. But Don't Wait! Applications are Due by April 30th! All youth dance groups with an average age between 8- 18 are welcome to apply and all styles of dance are encouraged! As part of the experience, your dancers will not only get to perform in the Allen Theatre at Playhouse Square, but tickets for the show are free, and the dancers will also get to participate in multiple different dance classes in a variety of styles throughout the day as they get ready to perform! *Approx. ten different groups will be selected and notified by May 22nd.
