Join DANCECleveland for a free showing and conversation with Lloyd Knight, principal dancer with Martha Graham Company. Knight will discuss the creation of his new solo dance work, The Drama, which will be performed in Cleveland in February. The contemporary dance work features film, narration, and original music as Knight explores his background, identity, and what it takes to be a professional dancer.
In this free evening at Near West Theatre, Knight will discuss and show excerpts of the new work in addition to a moderated Q&A and a post-showing reception.
Light refreshments will be provided.
